We had scouts rappelling, climbing, hiking, bouldering, bow fishing, and of course - the Stealth Patrol did a bit of cooking for all of us. Thank you Stealth and thank you Tom Fritts and all of the Stealth Dads behind the scenes. We capped Saturday night off with a trip to the Kalahari and returned to sleep in 30 degree weather. Camp was very quiet early Sunday morning despite having about 78-80 on the trip.
We meet Tuesday at 7:30 PM at NSCDS for Kenilworth Rally Preparation. I need extra High School Guys to join us for this preparation - we have 7-8 patrols competing and I need extra judges and trainers. All ASPL and unassigned Staff - please come forTuesday. Staff that are switching out of sports - this is a great time to get active and lend a hand.
We have been asked to provide extra scouts for the Veterans Day ceremony this Wed at4:00 at the Winnetka Community House. I have Teddy Ross, Rory Hession, John Hession, William Roberts, Benjamin Potterfield, and Blake Carroll. We need about 8 more - please let me know if you can come - long pant uniforms.
Give me another day or so and I will circulate contact information for the Troop organized by your Tree Lot Crew. The combination of the Campout and Kennilworth Rally has left me a bit behind. Several people have emailed to tell me about travel plans for Thanksgiving or the weekend. At this point, please plan on working a few of the Make up days (12/1, 12/7, 12/8, 12/15 if you will be away over the weekend. Please email me with the specific days you can work those shifts as a makeup.
Enjoy the photos below of the weekend in the "Reports & Pix" tab.
